Penn and Teller at the Rio did not disappoint. Their wit and way of storytelling is so different than everyone else (and they will make sure to tell you what they think of other magicians like Criss Angel and David Blaine).
When I walked into the theater, everyone is told to take a playing card that will be used later in a trick. (You must do this and be able to follow instructions! It is fun). Additionally, everyone is invited to go up onstage and inspect some of Penn and Teller's props. Also, a must do.
I feel like I have seen a lot of their tricks on TV in the past, but it's a whole new experience once you experience it up close. There are a few audience participation tricks, so keep your eyes and ears mindful for when this comes up.
Hint: keep your phone charged (I think it has to be at least 60%) in order to be a part of a really neat trick.
The guys are funny and engaging, and they really appreciate their fans. They will wait around outside of the show and take pictures and whatnot. If you're lucky, you get to hear Teller's voice! It's just a normal, male voice, nothing special, but at least you can say that you heard him speak.
A must see in Vegas.
