| - Saw relax hair salon on Fb and booked an appointment through there. We went in today as first time visitors, first thing I noticed was it was empty, second was the sign that says "get 10% off if you give a Yelp review" which it clicked why all the reviews on here were so great, because they wanted the deal. I however did not participate because I like to give an honest perspective of my visit. Location was okay, decor was nice and very clean as well as all items used to cut/shampoo our hair, the young lady who took care of us was a sweet short dark haired girl with colored contacts did our appointments, I did not catch her name. Now my fiancé went first and of corse I watched as she proceeded to cut his hair, as she was taking off the apron/cover, symbolizing she was completed, I stopped her immediately and asked her to fixed the spots she missed. I had to ask her to fix the same spots more then once, and she proceeded to ask after if she got it all. Now I'm no expert, but isn't it the stylist job to look out for these errors, and know weather or not the job was done and done properly? Now we got the 10$ deal for Tuesday's men's cut, and that's is exactly what we got a 10$ hair cut. Granted it's a finer job then super cuts but he will not e coming back. As far as my hair, I got just a basic trim to remove all the dead ends, so far I haven't seen anything wrong, everything is to my satisfaction. I do have to say the shampoo and conditioners scent wasn't pleasant for me and washed my hair again when I got home, not her fault, just the brand they use there. We tipped her what I feel was appropriate. I assume she is straight out of school or maybe a year or so. She did an ok job, her conversation was nice, but she does come off timid when it comes to touching our heads, I don't know maybe that's just me. We unfortunately will not be returning and we will not vogue and recommend this place. This was our experience.
