  • I recently enjoyed Jay Pharoah and overall my experience with my beau went well, but this place might want to audit their waiters and work on there crowd control management. As we arrived on a chilly night I immediately said "I'm not waiting outside in that line!" (because yes I'm a line snob) so luckily we were able to go upstairs and enjoy the live band after the hostess told us that we could wait in a much shorter indoor line with any proof of purchase from that bar. Sure enough we grab a couple drinks ( which do not count towards the two drink minimum) and then noticed the previous show was letting out. Apparently many people have the same idea and I saw a new line forming outside again where a few people had a receipt in their hands... Needless to say I could see the stress in the eyes of the hostess so I was people watching and sure enough I saw her caving and letting people who had come much later than us in first... So of course just like Mutumbo in those silly commercials I thought "no, no, no" so I proceeded to go back around inside smile and remind her that we have been waiting to enter and sure enough we got in before the other crowd. We managed to land some good seats, then noticed the 30 something dirty blonde waiter (I believe his name is Rich) taking orders of the group to our right, although I stepped away to the ladies room my beau knew what I wanted so I was confused what I noticed the same waiter taking orders nearby and realizing he had skipped over us... Needless to say I don't 'dilly-dally', and in a place like this the sooner you order the better, but I was confused when I noticed one of the guys from the group to my right walking back with a couple drinks in his hand. Suddenly our waiter comes back after I waved him down and he had in fact missed one of the couples to our right- so the guy politely mentions it and then the waiter goes off on him! They start arguing for a moment and then I distract the waiter with a big cheesy smile and say "alright well we know what we want!", and hurriedly placed our order... As the night progressed the waiter was super nice to us but did forget a few things we asked for and so we had to ask again... he was definitely one of those guys who never takes accountability for his own mistakes because he tried to pull what I call an "okeydoke" on us citing, "oh I didn't hear you say that" (when you know perfectly well that if you make eye contact with somebody and nod after they say something to you Mr. Waiter, it implies you acknowledged and heard your customer...) I don't know if you were just having a bad night or it's time for you to retire your apron but I would definitely sharpen my customer service and listening skills if I were you bro! Anyway, the Long Island iced tea, wings, and mini tacos were ok... so we'll be back
