My sons first year didn't go so well for a number of reasons, but I choose to try the studio again was I felt a lot of it was him not being in the right Type of dance class.
This year he's really enjoying it and looking forward to it most weeks.
Overall the services provided are up to par and the teachers seem knowledgeable. The front staff are pleasant and helpful. In summary it's a good studio, busy and seems to be well liked. It also seems many of the students take more then one class there as well which shows that those families obviously feel they get quality learning.
My biggest issue last year was taken care of and though it took a number of emails before receiving a full reply to my question/concern it was eventually handled and handled very well.
Their entry space can get rather crowded but to keep costs from going up I'm sure this is the best possible space and use of space, and it's dealable.
I would however suggest a better videographer as the end of year video was not the quality id expect for that cost and some social media/website improvements are needed but that's from a professional background in those areas and does not directly affect the quality of services. I'd also suggest the end of year performance be divided into shorter performances instead of a break have one followed by a second performance with the ability to pick up or drop off your child at the half way point as needed, as it is quite long and many parents have many reasons for not needing/wanting to be there, unable to pick up their child to leave, for that long.
Overall I did vote for them to receive calgary top dance studio award and am giving them 4 out of 5 stars only because they do need a few improvements and have not made me feel id brag or rave about them to friends or family, nor should we move would I travel any distance just to go here, and will up date this to 5 stars should that change.
