  • Do not use this company! Seriously, you're better off hauling your stuff in a backpack. In my experience, these movers lost shelves belonging to a treasured bookcase during a one-mile-away move. I placed the shelves inside the bottom of the bookcase, so why they were removed is beyond me. After filing a detailed complaint, corporate stated they are not responsible simply because they never found the shelves. I can only speculate, but they were likely delivered to the next clients (victims?) while leaving me high-and-dry. I was only asking for enough to cover the cost of making replacement shelves myself. Horrendous customer service and an unusable bookcase as a result. Thanks. AMS claims to treat customers like family. If by "family" they mean "red-headed stepchild," then sure.
