I am a self-proclaimed foodie-- I love reading about food, cooking food-- and of course eating food. When I was planning our weekend trip to Pittsburgh, naturally food would be a big part of our experience.
We dined at some delicious spots over the 3 days in town-- but loved Everyday Noodle SO much that we ate two meals there!!
The soup dumplings do not disappoint! The first night I had the beef and dry noodle and my husband had the spicy wonton noodle. We both enjoyed our meal-- but he may have out-ordered me.
The second meal, I had the shrimp and pork wonton soup and he had the spicy wonton dry noodle again. This time we went with the wide noodle instead of the thin. We both thought the wide-noodle was better. My shrimp and pork wonton had potential, but it lacked flavor. My soup was a very watery-bland broth. It could have benefitted from some sodium and it would have been nice to have some fresh, whole shrimp in the soup as well.
We have both had better pulled noodles in other cities-- (comes down to the broth) but it was still a huge treat for us!
Bottomline: highly recommend!
