| - I came in very cranky, stinky from cleaning my old apartment (ah, moving) and flustered by the seemingly lack of customer service at the Apple store (eventually resolved).
My mission was simple. Take my ancient beast of a HP laptop circa 2000 (hell, it still had a floppy disk drive--remember those?!). There was no power supply and nearly ever few inches had a crack or missing pieces.
With all these problems, or at least I thought, I wanted what was on that computer and put it on my Mac. The Apple store could not do this, much to my despair, so I brought it into RedSeven having heard rave reviews on Yelp and seeing the owner active on Yelp as well.
Michael helped me... and stated I would not be charged if the project and my hopes could not be completed successfully. He quoted a 24 hour turn around... and I dropped my lovely MacBook Pro off with much anxiety but... within the day, Michael got back to me saying the project was complete! Just be there before 6pm and I could see the mysterious contents.
Shazaam. I got there, and the contents wasn't much but it was a definite blast of the past. The customer service was stellar and quite refreshing to experience someone so down to earth.
To top it off, he honored a social media special with $20 off (I believe it was FourSquare) making it come to a total of $80 with again, stellar customer service! This guy beat up Best Buy Geek Squad.
