  • Had Home Depot install $3,500 worth of granite countertops at a property. The seam in the connection between the two pieces pulled apart by 1/4" after a couple years. Home Depot claims to have no connection to the installer they used to install and wanted $300 to have the poor installation corrected. Their 15 year warranty only really guarantees the rock will still be a rock after 15 years. Installation warranty only one year. I cannot recommend any of their installation services basis this experience. I'll opt for Lowes for all my home improvement needs going forward.
