(I'm still asking myself why I haven't reviewed this place despite visiting it several times over the last six months.)
This Starbucks is my new favorite hangout in Brampton. Set dead-center in the middle of the downtown core, this location wins points for the building it sits in and the service.
I first came here while waiting to attend an event at the Rose Theatre, and I was a bit taken aback by the odd location. From what I understand, this is located in a historic building, and it's unlike many (if any) other Starbucks I've visited. Old brick walls and high-ceilings (coupled with the standard chalkboard menu) give this place a much more rustic charm than many of the Starbucks I've visited, and it's a fantastic place to sit and decamp while reading a paper or enjoying the views.
You can see out to the Village Square outside, and the location is big enough that the noise level generally isn't a problem and you can work or read in peace.
Prices are the standard Starbucks spiel, but the quality's still good. They seem to make really good Pumpkin Spice Lattes here, and I've been suitably impressed on the four or so occasions I've visited since September.
This is quickly becoming a preferred destination when I visit the downtown Brampton core, and I find it to be a classy, unique coffee shop. Well worth a look if you're in the area.
