| - So sad I have to say this, but if I could give them zero stars I would. This review is for their customer service so it's very unfortunate that we're going to have to stop supporting this business. We've been coming here at least twice a month for a while now to get their donuts, and have gotten snooty service here and there, but my husband's experience with one of their workers just took the cake (he doesn't have a Yelp so he asked me to write this).
So he came to this store last Sunday, April 30th, at around 7:30am to get donuts as a special breakfast treat for us. He said there were only 6 kinds/flavors of donuts out at that time which was pretty weird since they've already been open for about an hour so he asked the girl (he described her as a younger light skinned Hispanic girl) working behind the counter if they had more. Right off the bat, the girl answered him crassly that that's what they currently have but she can make more, so my husband was at least grateful for that. According to him, her whole demeanor just seemed like she was not happy to be there, and obviously not happy to help him. He just brushed it off as he just wanted to get our donuts and get out of there. So she got done with his order which included a matcha green tea donut topped with pistachios. My husband simply asked her if she could separate that donut from the other ones as my son is allergic to pistachios, and suddenly this girl started huffing and puffing and went to make another matcha donut for some reason. When she came back, my husband said all he wanted was for her to separate the donut from the others in the box (something that other employees never had a problem with), and she nastily replied that my husband would have to pay for the second donut she made that my husband in no way insinuated for her to do. My husband, of course, replied that he wasn't going to pay for that and she had the audacity to tell my husband to "calm down". My husband isn't a confrontational person, and tries to avoid confrontation at all costs-- if anything I'm the confrontational one, so this whole exchange between them says a lot about how that girl treated him. My husband was naturally furious and asked her why she was telling him to calm down, especially since he was not even raising his voice nor making a scene. There were people in the store and they were witnesses to how nasty and rude she was treating my husband. He just opted not to make a scene in front of the people, so he just took the donuts he already paid for and left. This incident tainted the love we haD for this establishment. My husband asked her who the owner was, and she said she was part owner, which actually makes the whole situation worse, if true, since she shouldn't be treating her paying, loyal customers like that.
Never again will we step foot in establishment. There are plenty more donut shops that we can support, and though this is the closest one to us, we would rather drive farther than come back here and be disrespected by their workers. Glaze doughnuts, you just lost one of your most loyal customers because of your despicable and unacceptable customer service.
