| - I have come to Ivan Optical a few times now and I have to say they're pretty legit for an Asian store lol. If you're looking to spend under $300, this place is probably not what you're looking for.
To start with my experience, we walked in and was immediately greeted by one of the MANY staff there. Surprisingly it was pretty busy on a weekday, and when I've visited on the weekend, it was PACKED! I see the same dudes almost every time they come. They all speak English very well and are quite good at what they do. I showed him pictures of what I was looking for from a past optical place and he started whipping a tonne of different frames in the store that matched my category. I was debating between two styles from before, but I actually went with one of his recommendations. Dudes style was on point. It is important to note that they mostly sell designer frames; i.e Ray Bans, Gucci, Givenchy, etc. The total for my glasses came to over $300 including my prescription lens.
Being an Asian establishment, do not be afraid to ask for a discount and be prepared to walk away as there are like 4 different glasses shops in the same plaza. Lol. My only ish was that it was kind of awkward when we were talking about price and I wish he let us be when we were discussing privately. He also got a little weird when we took pictures of the frames. If you are a shopper that is independent and want to just look on your own, you probably won't enjoy it here as they assist you a lot.
The really strong pro I have to make is that he said it would be a week, but it was ready in two days. He called and said they were ready and I was like already??? Dayummm.
For designer frames and good service I recommend this place.
