Two of us stayed here in separate rooms..
The grounds are amazing; they take great care to make sure they are impeccably manicured. It backs up to Camelback Mountain with breath taking views. Staff was courteous, helpful and greets you with a smile. Autumn the bartender was very sweet! It's a resort so there are multiple buildings separated by a walkway which makes for an invigorating morning walk. A quiet and relaxing place to stay. I like the idea of two pools, one for families and one for adults only. Breakfast at Prado was top notch. The Keurig in the room is a welcome sight!
One reviewer: "Don't be fooled - it's not that great" If you've experienced 5 star resorts you may agree, this place has room for improvement. Initial impression of the room is it is dated. Multiple black (and obvious) scuff marks on the walls show the lack of attention to detail. The carpet could use cleaning. A notice near the TV gives you music options but no way to retrieve them. The remote for the TV was not user friendly. Sitting on the furniture outside my room, I soon learned they were soaked with water. My friend said that he "disappeared" into his mattress - definitely need to be changed. His bathroom door was warped and would not close easily. Last day, no hot water in the shower. My friend was in a few rooms down had the same problem. Upon check-out I was told, "Oh we'll look into that" a rather poor response for a room I just paid $542 for the night. I could name multiple other flaws but you get the idea. There are too many superior options in this price range. I'll be cautious at staying at any Omni Resorts in the future.
