This last weekend was the first time I had been to Rosita's in over 15 years. Back in undergrad I used to date a girl who worked there. She would bring me different dishes pilfered from the kitchen after each shift. Life was good. Anyway, I can report that nothing on the menu appears to have changed much since then. It is still hearty Sonoran fare. The salsa and red sauce have bite, the chips are warm and the burros are well stuffed. I do, however, have one gripe. My dinner arrived at the table with a most unappetizing helping of pre made soylent green looking goo on top of it. For a $12 entree, they really should have stepped up and rocked the fresh guacamole. Other than that, it is an A-OK place to grab a filling meal.
