| - We just spent a night at the Cromwell.
It is really well located on the strip and seems recent. It is a boutique hotel so rather small for Vegas.
We found the Hotel gorgeous, the staff was absolutely perfect and the room is gorgeous. Rather dark, but that's the style of the Hotel.
You get everything you need from complimentary (good) coffee and tea to ropes and slippers, or even a beauty vanity (to purchase). Full mini bar, huge TV, radio, safe etc.
The pool area is really nice. They are doing parties there and there is a night club + after club. It is said that it is a very good one, unfortunately that was closed when we stayed.
The casino is very nice too.
So why only 4 stars and not 5 ?
Detail but kind of off putting, when we entered the room the toilets were not flushed and the cover was dirty. Overall the room wasn't that clean. Nothing really bad but compared to the general hotel quality it was a minus.
But what we really bothered us is that you can hear absolutely everything from your room, every noise from the hallway. When your neighbour open or close the door it feels like someone is trying to get into your room. I saw some comments about it and thought it was probably a detail but that was actually really annoying, we had a very early flight and were exhausted, and were not able to nap because of this.
Overall it was still a good experience.
