| - I recently stayed at the Trump Hotel to see Britney's show at Planet Hollywood. My friend booked the hotel on priceline where we were able to get a good deal. We were also upgraded to an exquisite suite. It had a master bedroom and bathroom, a second full bathroom, as well as a full living room, and fully equipped kitchen (full-size fridge, range, and sink.) The view was spectacular! You get a full view of the Vegas lights.
This is located off the strip, across the street from Fashion Show Mall. It's a very short walk to the mall if you want to get shopping in. Walking to the strip might take a while and we usually took our car to any locations on the strip.
Some things to note: there is a resort fee of around $30 per night for wi-fi use and other amenities . Luckily, the wi-fi was fast for me.
There are free water bottles replenished daily.
There's no casino in the hotel, which was a plus for me, as I don't like walking through a smoky casino to get to my hotel room anyway.
Valet is required, so if you plan on taking your car, be sure to account for that.
I believe they were originally intended to be apartments, so that explains the full kitchens. Unfortunately there's no cutlery, pots/pans, or anything to actually make use of the kitchens.
Room service was alright. The staff was great and the little tiny bottles of tabasco and ketchup were just too darn cute.
Also, the restaurant downstairs is overpriced and simply OK. I would not dine there again.
Overall, a very beautiful hotel to stay at and I definitely would stay here again. However, paying full price for the same suite might be a little too rich for my blood. (According to my friend, the actual cost would have been near $1200/night.)
