| - I am familiar with Macy's coupons, as I get them ALL the time. And they always look like the first picture attached, with 10 billion exclusions, including LAST ACT. I know coupons do not work with that department. However, I recently received a special coupon in the mail(pictured on the right) that does not include all of the exclusions from the other coupons. So I tried to use it on my sale items purchase. Emily, who was my cashier, was extremely unqualified and had no idea what was going on, and was quite rude to me when we asked for a manager to speak with. She called one on the phone, and briefly explained the situation, hung up and then told us the same thing. Yes, I get that last act doesn't work with coupons, but PLEASE explain to me why the coupons say different things. It doesn't make sense!! Finally had to go hunt down a manager, who was just as unhelpful as Emily, just to here her say the SAME exact thing, with no explanation. "Sorry, last act doesn't work with coupons" YES! I understand, I get it!!!! But this coupon did NOT list Last Act as an exclusion!! They were so rude, so NOT helpful. They have no idea what their coupons exclude and use the same lame excuse for every situation. They wouldn't budge and let me use the coupon or anything. I've met Macy's employees in the past, who have nicely given us extra discounts even on already sales items. But these teenagers in charge at this location have no idea how customer service works. As much as I love Macy's, as I am a credit card holder through them, I don't think I could go back to this location if this is the customer service I will have to deal with when an issue arises. I guess I'll have to call the corporate office just to get any type of answer to my simple question. (Photos of coupons down below.)
