I arrived for my scheduled appointment this morning and the front desk staff tell me that their internet has been down since a Thursday storm, and that their systems are completely dependent on the Internet. I told the staff that my appointment only required my doctor to review lab results. They said that they could not do that because the system is down. I asked if they knew when their internet would be back....they said that they did not. When asked if my appointment should be rescheduled, I told them to cancel it....indefinitely, and then left.
This was the second opportunity that I gave this office....yes second. My first visit two weeks ago was my first introduction to this office and Dr. Brown. Dr. Brown was absolutely great. However, the entire office looked like it had not been dusted or cleaned in months. There was dust on all of the blinds. They even had an empty trophy case that had a think layer of dust. I was disappointed and I told Dr. Brown (he was new to this office) in private that he would need to emphasize with management that the office was not up to par for me to bring my family to. He appreciated the input and the appointment was over. Today I left so fast that I did not even look to see if they in fact cleaned.
It's very disappointing that this office was very unprepared. I did not even receive a phone call to let me know that I wasn't going to be seen. They have other offices in the valley. They could have easily reallocated staff to begin calling their patients with whom they had appointments. How irresponsible to place their entire operations in the hands of the internet. They should have had a backup plan. I'm never coming here again.
