  • I recently went back to SIP, This is an update to a previously bad review I had before. They remodeled the interior and appeared to have all new management and employees. So far this experience I was impressed. They even had a live band playing, which is very loud, but I enjoyed the music. Drinks are moderately priced at about $6 vodka special. The appearance seems to attract a cosmopolitan crowd. From the previous "Town Tavern" ownership, they tried more so for the club scene. I am unaware of how the weekend would be as this review is for Wednesday night. I met with the new manager, and he was friendly and helpful. To conclude, they appear to be heading in the right direction for the Uptown Charlotte scene; and I am glad I gave them another chance.
