  • Las Vegas Custom Cakes was a choice through our venue Canyon Gate Country Club along with another bakery. We actually had met both bakeries at the Bridal Expo - and we liked the other bakery better at that time... I wanted to mention that because of how we ended up choosing LVCC and how glad we are we did! We decided to set up a tasting with them anyway and they were very accommodating - we did only get to taste four cakes/fillings at that time - which were their most popular. Makes sense as they have SO MANY flavors that it would be impossible to taste them all. We never asked if you could choose a specific flavor combo and they would specially make a tasting of that because we chose to go with three of the flavors we had actually tasted because they were AMAZING (see pic for flavors). (side note we chose them as the cake simply tasted better at the tasting than at the other bakery) I showed them pictures of my vision for my wedding cake and when the day came they had recreated it beautifully. They had a perfect rose gold color to match my cake topper. They also upgraded for a small cost the middle tier to be taller than the other 2, which I loved the look of although it is subtle. My guests RAVED about the cake - even after I got home from the honeymoon they were still talking about it. That makes me so happy and was one of the most important things for me! I have to also mention I had a surprise dessert table for my husband - and LVCC made cake pops in the same flavors as our wedding cake (chocolate - white - strawberry) - and they also offered mini cheesecakes. I don't eat cheesecake so I couldn't review myself - but he said he ate three of them and wanted to eat more but had to stop himself. I had them choose their most popular - lemon raspberry and caramel. They also offer other desserts like brownies, macaroons, parfait shooters and mini tartlets (what are those?) - but I was also doing donuts so that was enough sweets! There wasn't a ton of back and forth communication with them once we had set plans in stone, which I at first was worried about even though I am not sure what I expected to discuss haha - but every time I reached out to them they were very quick to respond and very helpful. We cannot say thank you enough!
