Bar Marco has been good in the past, but this time we went in for a No Menu Monday and I was disappointed with both the food and also the service.
I've gone here a couple of times before just for drinks and have been a big fan of both the drinks and also talking to the bartenders there.
This time we came with a couple of friends from out of town and after coming in and being seated the server waited 5-10 minutes before informing us that it was No Menu Monday or asking us for our drink orders. Her attitude was also much more nonchalant with us than other customers and this really left a negative feel on the whole meal. She gave us no suggestions even though our friends had never been there.
Food-wise they offered a Southern meal highlighting the chef from Gooski's. There was Pulled Pork, Collard Greens, Mac and Cheese and Corn on the Cob. The Pulled Pork and Mac and Cheese were good, but the Collard Greens and Corn on the Cob both seem to lack anything out of the ordinary.
I really want to say good things about Bar Marco based on past experiences, but based on what happened this occasion, I won't be back again.
