  • Recommended to try this place by some Cleveland friends and I don't think I could've have gotten a better guidance. From the bite of the first sample it was obvious that everything was homemade. My only complaint is that there were so many flavors to choose from it made it nearly impossible to decide. I ended up trying the smallest portion of three (only the portions aren't all that small). First off was something unusual, which I choose the Strawberry Jalapeño. It was fresh with a real bite for a finish. Next up was the Salted Caramel, if you're a lover of caramel and salt this is the ticket! Last was one of my personal favorite pistachio...well, Toasted Pistachio. That was awesome. I really don't need to say anything about the quality of the ice cream or even the flavors other than OUTSTANDING! This is a truly a must stop. In regards to the rest of the review... Cleanliness: Excellent! The seating in an outdoors was very well kept. The floors and tables were all clean and despite having an abundance of children with dripping ice cream free from stickiness. The bathrooms were great and the prep area for everyones ice cream order was cleaned immediately. Service: Excellent: Service with a smile despite giving out a number of sample tastings. Seating: Outstanding: Seating was abundant both inside and out. The outdoor area was all covered but allowed for ability to enjoy the summer warmth. Overall: This is easily a 5 Star ice cream shop in my book. I just wished they were in my state and town. Great job Mitchell's and I hope to visit you again one day.
