| - Stayed at the Orleans for two nights and had a good time! Starting with check-in, it was not the friendliest but it got the job done! Getting to the room, it was great, the beds were comfy with nice pillows and covers/blankets! The shower didn't get very hot and the toilet was obnoxiously loud upon flushing so I was disappointed..but this hotel has a very nice pool on the up-side! Unfortunately, they fail to keep unattended children out of the hot tub, and you have to pay for pins to use the umbrellas at the pool! The food at the hotel wasn't too bad, and the building was kept in pretty nice shape. The casino area is very smokey unfortunately, but that makes sense since you're permitted to smoke inside! It is NOT within a comfortable walking distance of the strip but it's within a maybe $10 Uber ride (more-or-less, it's not that far from the Strip)! The parking at the hotel was free which I loved! On the second night, the power went out for about a minute but it came on almost right away. Onto check-out, it was super breezy and I was super happy because they extended my check-out time! Overall, I would come back here, just keep in mind if you're looking for luxury this is not the place, but it's a nice hotel for the price! 10x better than the Tropicana and the Excalibur (disgusting)! Overall, I would come back here, but I would still like to try other hotels, as the Venetian looks phenomenal!!
