My dog was not feeling well yesterday so I took her to see the vet arrived a little after 1:00. The lady at the front desk was so nice, I have seen her before but I can not remember her name, it started with a D. She leaned over the counter and talked to my dog the same way I do, she said "you don't feel good? whats wrong baby" but then told me she can not get me in until next week. She said the doctor has no more availability to see any more pets. She was very nice, I like her. I looked at the board on the wall and there was over 20 pet names, 1 doctor? How can they give quality care for so many dogs with one doctor? I think they are way under staffed. A few months ago I bought that plan they sell, I was told I could get a appointment when ever I need and I would not have to pay out of pocket. I think that was a bad idea buying that, I don't usually fall for sales pitches but unfortunately I was suckered this time. I now I have to pay for this thing for a year and can not get to see a doctor when when my dog is sick. I am happy to say my dog is feeling better today, glad it was not serious, but what if it was? I miss Dr Shelly back home, she would have seen my dog yesterday if I was back home.
A big example of corporate compared to caring.
