| - Just a horrific experience. I have worked with scores of lenders over the years and this has been hands down the worst one ever. I have a client who went here for a mortgage. I'll save you the details, but my extremely well qualified client's closing has been bumped back several times, several email inquiries by myself for updates went completely ignored, phone calls I made inquiring about loan updates were returned in a very hit an miss fashion, We have been shuffled to several different loan officers throughout the process, Spencer, Doug, Lori, and DeAna, to name a few. 75+ days after the initial loan application Southern Fidelity sends me an email with wiring instructions, verifying they have wired the funds to the title company. Oh wow, we're finally going to close. Oh but wait, that loan they plugged my client into is exclusively for first time home buyers, my client is not a first time home buyer. Now we have to start the process again. They KNEW this was not a first time home buyer from the beginning, even if they hadn't known, it's their job to check that shit out at the beginning of the loan process, not at the end. Home is still not closed. The initial loan process started June 18, 2016 and today is September 13th. Still no loan approval, loan still not funded. Still. Not. Closed. Buyer is stressed out, seller stressed out, I'm stressed out. I'm just glad I did not pick this lender. If I ever see their name on a deal again, I will insist my client go elsewhere, or they can find another agent. I'll never put myself or my clients through such a disastrous experience.
