| - My primary care doctor in Washington, DC was a One Medical physician and I LOVED her! Dr. Alicia Buchwalter was PHENOMENAL! It is true, they are NEVER late, they are not double booked and I NEVER felt/feel rushed. I now live in Phoenix and discovered recently that One Medical Group is here and booked an appointment ASAP! Saw Dr. Michieli and he is the BOMB.COM! Like Kristen B., I second that it is an amazing place. I went to another practice before discovering One Medical here in Phoenix and I walked out of that place with a copy of my lab work and a return of my copay after sitting in the make shift lobby for 1/2 hr after my appointment time and then was expected to sit in a room and WAIT more for the PA. NOPE, I am NOT doing it. I now refuse to pay for services like this because I do not have to go to a "clinic." When I asked a question no one knew anything, they ran tests that had nothing to do with my health history and as shady as it appeared, the patients looked JUST as shady. One Medical saved me another trip to a doctor or (PA) physician assistant (I do NOT want to see him/her on my first visit), only to discover that the relationship was NOT going to work. I am very much involved in my own healthcare, I keep up with my health and I want that SAME kind of attention when I come to see a doctor. Initially in DC, I was concerned about the membership fee because I had never heard of such a thing and they waived it. But I GLADLY paid that membership fee here in Phoenix. I wish they had Rheumatologists in their practice, but I think I took care of that with a good practice but is a distance from downtown Phoenix, where I live.
