  • I haven't been to the zoo for over ten years, so all the improvements were a great surprise. The zoo has it all-meerkats, giraffes, penguins, hippos, etc,etc. It is a very family friendly place and easy to get to, via c-train. If you decide to drive, parking in the lot costs $10 if you don't have the annual membership. There are some extras for the kids that cost additional $. There is a train and a carousel. Rides are $3/ride or $8 for unlimited rides for the day (per person). If you have a year pass, unlimited rides are $5.
