| - This was my third time using this company. Twice personally and once with my business. Until my move yesterday I have had a good experiences with APM, unfortunately, this experience was quite different. I received an estimate both over the phone, via email, and the morning of the move of 6 to 7 hours. The move ended up taking 10.5 hours to complete, and we moved less than 100 yards away. They sent 3 men, who were nice and worked hard, but were SLOW. I even had about 30% less items than my original estimate accounted for.
In addition, we ended up jumping the battery in their truck when it died, and listened to a lot of shaming comments about how heavy my items were. When I called and talked to a manager I was blamed for not calling during the move and reporting what was going on. The owner Ray, did call me back and offered to reimburse my CC $100 (since I was a returning customer), but didn't even bother to ask me any details about what happened. He informed me there were two different stories and the truth was "somewhere in the middle". No, the truth is in the discrepancy between what was promised and what was delivered. The truth is actually in the numbers. I have clear documentation and witnesses that can attest to what happened.
I think APM should honor their estimates, thank me for helping with their mechanical problems, and make it right. This experience cost me $300-400 I was not expecting, and regardless of what I've been told by them, this is in NO way my fault. Bummed to say I will not be using this company again.
