  • I was given the details of this Ability Center by the special driving school along with a couple others. I already owned a set of hand controls but nobody else would install them. This company agreed readily and for a reasonable price. They quickly assessed what additional parts they'd need, ordered them and scheduled me in for the day after the parts were due to arrive. Cliff did an expert job, then fine tuned them to fit me perfectly. The whole process was a real pleasure. That was a couple months ago. This week my wife got a new car and I called Tonya to order hand controls for that car too. It's quite expensive but we decided to go ahead. I was delighted when they told me the car manufacturer has a program where they pay up to $1,000 towards the cost for a new set up in a new car. Would other installers tell me that? I'm not sure... I'm sad to see Ability on 19th Ave got some poor reviews because to my mind they're The Best! Cliff is an extremely knowledgeable and professional engineer, Tonya is a real pleasure to work with and always extra cheerful, Erin is also very knowledgeable and helpful. They're a great team and I'm really glad I found them.
