  • Best place for meat, eggs, chicken and bacon....period. I have been going here for a long time now and always found the owners, employees and customers to be friendly, helpful and talkative. Don't be afraid to trade recipes with others while waiting for your special cuts to be brought out. I love the fact that there is no real "line" to get into for service, just stand there and before long someone will ask you if they can get you something. And if it's been awhile since you've been here......it's totally redone. Larger and very cool looking with stone face and cedar columns on the outside, new polished and stained floor, barn wood and tin on the inside. Very well done and inviting. Forget about the Saturday taco truck outside........that's MY secret, lol. Too many people finding out about that "good thing", it getting crowded out there....JK Do yourself a favor: stop in and buy some meat at, in my opinion, the friendliest place in Union county.
