My son has been going here for a little over a year now. I had originally enrolled him just for the summer last year because the preschool he was going to was going to charge a ridiculous amount for care during the summer. My plan was to switch him back when summer was over because of cost, but I decided to keep him here. I could tell the teachers were great with the kids and there was better structure and social interaction. My son also doesn't always adjust well to change. He likes routine. Teachers and front desk staff have always been so patient and accommodating. They understand his needs and they handle it well. I went on maternity leave this year and kept him home with me. When we returned after 3 months, his teacher was no longer there and he wasn't happy about it. They did great in helping him transition. When I've come to get him and he's throwing a fit because he doesn't want to leave, they've helped me get him to the car. Tremendous help because it calmed him for the ride home. They have also taken the time to notice when he's overwhelmed and needs a social break and let him do something else. Sometimes I'm running late in the morning, don't get him there in time for breakfast, but they will still offer him something to eat. I also have to comment on a previous post about not giving proper notice of the payment due date. They definitely gave enough notice. I remember seeing the notice posted on the front door and near the sign in computer for at least a month. I personally never took the time to read the whole letter but I knew it was about the day change. Since I'm on auto pay, I didn't worry about it because in my situation, the day doesn't matter. The week prior, they did take the time to explain to me and had me sign a form. My son starts kindergarten next year and if they pick up from his school, he will continue coming here for the after school program!
