| - Not my absolute favorite Barriques - of the few I've been to I think the Fitchburg and Monroe St locations are a bit more refined and carry a wider variety of goods for sale. The basics remain the same: coffee, wine, food - just not as many varieties at this particular spot.
However, as a cafe, the Atwood Barriques does just fine. There are a lot of tables and three different seating areas. It is an especially good cafe to study at or get work done, because it is fairly quiet, has free wifi, room so as not to feel cramped, with the added bonus of hot sandwiches and coffee.
While I haven't tried them personally, some of my friends are obsessed with their breakfast sandwiches to the point of buying them almost every morning.
Interior is designed along an industrial, raw exposure theme, sort of like the original Colectivo cafes in Milwaukee. The accents and light fixtures are cute and kind of funky, featuring gears and caged light bulbs.
In short, what really matters is that they are open late and are a convenient place for laptop work.
