  • The Underground is the basement venue for the Drake Hotel. It usually hosts local acts, touring indie bands, DJs & occasionally stand-up. This venue is perfect venue for that, as it's one of the smaller venues in the city with a capacity of around 200 creating a very intimate space. It looks like the space has received a major renovation since the last time I was there The sound system is phenomenal along with a good selection of drinks at the bar (same as the upstairs) with Ontario favourites Mill St. Organic & Beau's Lug Tread. The drinks are reasonably priced and there's more selection here than other venues in Toronto. Sightline's are solid as well. You can see anywhere. I would come back to the Underground to see a show for sure
