  • My cat, Greyson, needed a rabies vaccine. I was told that Animart had a Humane Society Voucher for a $15 vaccine. Naturally, I thought it was a good deal. So I headed on over to East side Animart. My experience there was DEEPLY DISTURBING. Upon entering the store, it was clear that the store had seen better days. Feces, fur and kibble accumulation was evident on the floor in every department, needless to say raising serious health concerns, for animals as well as the public. Perhaps even more disturbing was our encounter with a somewhat shady young woman at the "Wellness" Clinic. Greyson's regular vet said that no matter what we do, we MUST get the ONE YEAR VACCINE for him, as the 3 year has been found to cause cancer in studies. Animart stated that they had never heard of this issue before, and was quick to reassure us that their "one year and three year vaccines are the exact same thing". I think not.... Please do not waste your money here. Serious cruelty is alive and well here at Animart. Unless Animart cleans up its act and starts being honest, they will not stay afloat very much longer.
