My Hubs and I go to Vegas a couple times a year and we have stayed at a lot of different hotels that for the most part are just fine and we don't have any issues with until now and it comes down to personal safety.
The power went out in the hotel for some time during the morning and we were stuck on the 23rd floor. Ok, no big deal, we get it and relaxed for a while until the power came back on.
The elevator... Later in the day we were going up to our room and we ended up DROPPING several floors. Yes, I said dropping. As in, three times on one way up to the 23rd floor we dropped several stories at a time. When we finally crawled off the elevator I was grateful for my life! We called down to let them know and yet they didn't close off that unit. We ran into others at this resort who say they exact same thing happened to them.
So, the power has gone out, the elevators are hostile and then the fire alarms start going off at 1am in the Casino and nobody looks concerned! We were lucky to get out of this hotel alive! I guess no one at this property will learn until Caesar's is hit with a major lawsuit.
A few small details. The pool, I am so sad to say that we did not get to enjoy this. The website indicated that the pool was closed for the season and this was not the case. Room fees. We had a free stay, but by the time you upgrade your room and pay for resort fees you might as well be paying a full rate.
