  • Any time I have to get something golf related, I check in with my friends at Golf Galaxy. They have everything you need for your golf game. I can't count how much of my golf supplies have been purchased here. Used or new, you have options. Their inventory of used clubs is underwhelming, but often you can find a gem. The simulator is right there to try out a club to see if it feels right for you. My son and I did some putter shopping there, eventually finding the right putter and purchasing it (along with some great clearance shoes for him). The practice putting green is a nice way to get a feel for putters before you buy. Most recently I went in to see about having a club shaft lengthened. The guy at the services counter was very helpful. We kicked it around a bit, eventually deciding the club was good "as is". The staff at Golf Galaxy is great. Everyone I have encountered has been very friendly and they have kept MY best interests in mind. While they could easily push a sale, they listen to my needs and help me formulate the right decision. I appreciate that. In the past, they had lots of "members events" (for card-carrying rewards card members). Those seem to have died off. I enjoyed going in there (often late at night) to try out new drivers, see the latest equipment, and shop special sales.
