| - Gonna cover two separate visits to Ten Park Lanes in this review, so bear with me.
I had heard plenty of good things about the food at Ten Park, but it's difficult to believe that bowling alley food is anything other than grease masquerading as pizza and fries. BELIEVE THE HYPE PEOPLE! I had a mason jar filled with barbeque, mac 'n' cheese, jalapeƱos, and baked beans. I also just recovered from the heart attack, but it was other every one of the three bypasses they complete on me (Thanks doc). Great variety on the menu from typical bar food to the more exotic/designer offerings. Two bars also help with the drinking traffic. Cheap pitchers, craft brews and shots on deck can only help your hand-eye coordination when you're rolling for that perfect 300, amiright?
Speaking of which, if you're planning on bowling either reserve a lane, or be prepared to wait. This place is bittersweet with its popularity becase they are popping all the time. We had a group head over on Saturday night for my fiancee's birthday. We arrived and put our name on the waiting list and hung out for over an hour (also our fault that we had a big group and needed two adjoining lanes, but I digress). The bowling is somewhat pricey, but they let my fiancee bowl for free since it was her birthday (don't know if that is common or not there). The good news is that they have TVs, music, food, drinks and other games to entertain you. Cornhole, ping-pong, bocce, and I think shuffleboard, but don't quote me on that.
Awesome atmosphere for families during the day and evening, but no one under 16 is allowed in after 10 pm. Will definitely be returning, because you always forget how much bowling is until you do it again, and I will be bringing my appetite with me again too.
