This loyal ichotels customer that's dropped a lot of money at Holiday Inns in the last 12 months messed up. I ended up at this hotel because I clicked on the wrong hotel from my company web site - my fault.
Problem is that I realized the error of my ways when I arrived around 8pm and saw that the rate wasn't what I'd expected. When I figured out what happened I asked if I could cancel my reservation and go to the Holiday Inn I meant to book in the first place. The lightning fast response: "you can, but it's after 6pm so you'll have to pay for the room anyway." Then I noticed that the 1st night's rate was $34 higher than the 2nd night's rate for the same room (both rates way above what my planned hotel would have been). The clerk tells me that's because they're full.
I messed up. They had every right to make me pay, and boy did they ever. Congrats, you got your money out of me.
As far as rooms, it's a typical Holiday Inn. They're fine.
