| - My visit was at 6:45pm on 10/21/2013. I went in and asked if T-Mobile carried, or would carry the Samsung Galaxy Mega. The brunette white guy told me "No, we only carry good phones". I asked "Then why do you carry the iphone?" He had no answer, he just turned red. I pushed forward and asked what was wrong with the Mega, to which he had no answers, just a series of one liners about how the resolution is bad and it's only dual-core. (Never mind the fact that I was buying this phone for my mom, who has very poor eyesight and needs the large screen and large numbers and won't be installing apps other than facebook.) He insisted on deprecating the Mega in favor of the Note 3. I told him the Note 3 is a great phone, in fact I bought the Original Note 1 the DAY it came out, but the CPU on the 3 would be overkill for what I needed it to do for my mom.
I gave up on this clown. Besides, I could buy the Mega unlocked on ebay if it supports T-Mobile bands. So I asked him what LTE bands does T-Mobile operate on. His answer? "1900!". Anyone who answer "1900" to a question about spectrum allocation and provisioning doesn't understand how the FCC allocates spectrum to different wireless carriers. Furthermore, that person would be unqualified to deprecate any brand, let alone brands that they are entrusted to represent to the customer on behalf of t-mobile. For the record, LTE band 4 doesn't approach anywhere near "1900".
The store I normally visit is on Warm Springs and Marks. The employee "Chris" at that store has been great whenever I had a question about my account. It is to my misfortune that I came into this store, when all I went to the mall for was to have some Yakisoba,
