  • I hate that I even have to change this review but this needs to be said. Dr Goyle was a great dr. I was never given pain meds due to the fact I didn't want them. I had my first RFA in 2015 and returned to him in 2017. He immediately wanted to do another RFA and I was a little weird about it due to the fact it's been like 2 years and just boom, 3 minutes in the room this is what we're gonna do? Well, insurance of course wasn't going for it until I did MBB, fine, whatever. During that time, my pain was quite bad so he rx'd me Oxycodone and to only take it for severe pain, not a problem, I hate pain meds and I had to do a Urine drug screen. Cool, next visit I told the dr I forgot to tell him my PCP has me on Tramadol for Pelvic Pain, Dr Goyle says, oh ok I'll add it. That's the last we spoke of it. He told me my drug test came back normal and all was good. Well time kept passing and nothing was being approved again. Come to find out from my insurance they submitted the auth for my Cervical RFA using a back pain dx code which they never even treated me for! FIRST LIE, that was Sandy at the Bell road location. It was just circles at this point and I finally get in for the RFA after almost 2 months. This RFA KILLED me so bad. So many side effects. Numerous calls to office with no calls back. Finally they tell me that the Dr had still not responded to my message which was already a week old! I get a call back telling me I can come to the office to pick up a script for Oxy, which I didn't even ask for. So I drive 30 miles one way to pick this up to be told it's 15 pills. Say what?! Your making me do flips to get any help here and 60 miles round trip for 15 pills?! Whatever. I dealt with it because I had not planned on using them. Fast forward to 6/1 when I filled that RX and apparently my insurance would only approve 14 outta the 15. Whatever, done with all the drama. Fast forward to 6/19 when we had a cleaning company come to clean our house, I took the pills and put them in my drawer, (the 14 unused pills). Come Monday, I was having a lot of pain and that's when I went to get the pills and noticed the bottle was EMPTY! Major panic mode, I destroyed the drawer hoping somehow they dumped but they didn't. After dealing with the police and the cleaning company I had to call VPC to explain what has happened. They called me back and said I needed to make an appt (which I was happy to do because I'm sick of this pain) and scheduled me with an NP which I was not happy about but with all the madness happening who was I to argue. On 6/29 I drive my 30 miles one way (let me add I never complained of this drive due to the good care I always received from Dr Goyle) I show up at 8am for and 8:15 check in and appt at 8:30. It was me and 2 other people waiting. THATS IT. The MA was really nice as always, went over my current med list with me that has never changed and told me she would be right in. This NP did not walk into the room until 9:17am, not like I have a job and a life to get back to. Let's just say she was the coldest being I've ever dealt with. Her name was Angela Oakley. She was asking me what happened and I told the story for the 50th time and gave her copies of the police report. I did let her know I was looking for a more long term fix as what I have going on is a bit more severe and I want a permanent fix sooner than later. She then asked me why I take the Tramadol and I told her it was for my Pelvic pain and that's when everything went downhill. She told me I was in violation of my pain contract and that I would have to do a urine drug test that day and she was NOT refilling my Oxy that was stolen. . Right there I jumped in and said what are you talking about, Dr Goyle knows I get this from my PCP and why I take it! She states is was positive on my last drug screen and I'm not allowed to have it and she would send Dr Goyle a message. I stopped her as I was extremely upset having been through complete hell with the recovery of the stupid RFA and then the theft.
