  • Great tour! I don't remember my tour guide's name, but that's because I have a hard time remembering names. The tour guide was wonderful. He was funny, polite and knowledgeable. He was able to answer a bunch of questions I had. The other storytellers were great actors who had wonderful showmanship. The rooms were brilliant and all had their unique and cohesive theme. Yes, it was creepy and all worth seeing. The history behind some of the objects and rooms were fascinating. I did feel some temperature changes and had some headaches in certain parts of the mansion, but not so bad as the last room. I was one of the first ones to get out of the second to the last room (I believe it was the Natalie Wood room) and when I exited the room, I saw a shadow across the way. It was for a split second, so my first thought was that my eyes were adjusting, but then I started to feel very uncomfortable. I stood next to this door and started to get a sharp pain in the back of my head, like the beginning of a migraine. Then I noticed that my facial expression had changed. I'm usually a really happy person with a constant smile on my face, but this time I realized that I had scrunched my face and nose (this is bizarre for me). It turns out that the room I was near is the room with the demon house dirt and the staircase. I was very uncomfortable going in and when I did, it had a foul smell. Not just musk smell from the dirt inside it, but a very foul odor. I almost gagged. Weird thing was that it looked like I was the only one that smelled it. The other people looked uncomfortable, but it looked like they couldn't smell what I was smelling. It was as if everything in there was rotting. Anyways, I felt a lot better when I got out, but still felt a bit dizzy and nauseous when I left. If you like unique museums, this is the place to visit. If you like to be amused, this is the place to visit. If you are interested in the paranormal, then this is the place to go. I will be taking this tour again when I come back to visit.
