Destination: yup!
Faves: wing, pork, shrimp
In a bizarre way, their pork is my fave pulled pork in PGH. It's wonderfully smoked, and you can accoutre it w chimi or garlic or onion sauce, but it's awesome on its own, w the crusty bread that comes with.
Backing up, we started w the wings. Just say, "Yes." This could be an entree. Big, meaty w a wonderful smoke.
K had the shrimp, and it was fantastically grilled and flavorful enough so they definitely made it theirs, but not too much to step on the subtleties of the beast.
Evil dark chocolate dessert. If you can't make din din for some silly reason, get the deep dark chocolate loveliness.
Table full of regular guys had sammies, and they looked all that, even if you just see the bread.
Ambiance is plain, functional but the chunky wooden tables and seats appeal to me. Staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant; those who are fans of fashionable female form may get more from their visit.
I believe this is still a BYO.
