  • I'm gonna give a honest review of my experience at the Hoxton. I have been to almost all clubs in Toronto, guverment, hoxton and uniun are the best out of all of them. People only come to these clubs and line up for so long because of the DJ and artist. Yes, there's long line up for washroom, coat check and to enter the club. The reason why there's a huge line up is because this club is filled with people. Unlike other empty nightclubs. If you want to get into a popular venue, waiting 30-60 is normal. However, I find this club to be very dirty and unclean. It seems like they have no cleaning staff at all. The entrance of the club has a dumpster near to it. Where drunk people sit on when they come out of the club. Seriously?! As for the drinks, they are way too overpriced!! $10 for a beer is honestly a rip off. If this was at a music festival like veld or digital dreams, $10 tall boys are acceptable. Seems like they really try hard to keep the business open by jacking up drink prices. Overall, good venue for music and to see your favourite performers. Everything else just really makes your night worse.
