First time coming here, my expectations were high as a I frequent many sushi spots around Vegas. I heard good things about Sushi Wa so I was very excited. Upon coming in, I was greeted and was seated right away. The ambience of the place was casual and soothing. Not many people were here because maybe it was around 9 pm on a holiday weekend.
I sat at the bar and was immediately asked if it was my first time here by the chef. I said yes, and he told me to ask if I had any questions. The food selection is great with many variations. I chose to wat AYCE and I definitely got my money's worth by eating here. I ordered and I got my foos right away. Also, Chef Joon oppa was very accommodating and nice to me. He was friendly and made me feel very welcome in his sushi restaurant. With that, I have been coming here regularly.
Food: fresh and consistent
Ambience: clean, casual, and relaxing (music is not too loud)
