| - On Sep 20, 2016 I went in to look at a 2013 Dodge Dart, I had spoke with Kelly prior to going in from when I left my info online about the car on Sep 19, 2016, told her I would be there around 5:30pm or 6pm the next day. I got there a lot earlier then expected. When I arrived at the dealership I was greeted by Todd Allen, he informed that he would look for her. He offered me a seat and a bottle of water. Todd and Kelly both came back she stated she was going to be going into training soon and that Todd would help me out she gave him all the info for the car and everything else we had talked about.
I requested that Todd and I go over some number before I took it for a test drive. He left for about 15 minutes max and had what I requested. Once I was happy we took the car out, after driving it around the block (they need a better route for test driving) I like the drive but love the rest of the car. After the drive we went over the car from what he could remember from a previous job he had a Dodge dealership. I inspected the car and gave it a second look over, once I went inside I double checked everything we went inside and took a look at the numbers again. I told him that I I like car and wanted to get but had to wait for my wife to get off of work before I finished the deal since we will both be going on the car. He asked what time I plan on being back and said he will make sure that the car gets cleaned up and double checked by the time I get back.
Came back with my wife (that night) after a long stressful day dealing with Fairway Chevrolet and them call my wife asking for a bunch of extra crap on the car we bought for her. She decided to take the car back since they were having trouble finding financing. Anyway we go back to Kia and meet up with Todd we run the numbers and go over everything again. After we finalized the deal and explain what happened with Chevy they offered to help and see what they could do for us on a second Vechicle.
After some thought and reassurance that the deal on the Dart will go through. We decided to go ahead and see what they could do. They showed us a 2016 Kia Forte my wife drove it down the street from the over lot to the main lot and said she did not like the inside. Todd asked what were we looking for and what was the must haves. My wife explained what she wanted in the car. He dated that they just got a few Kia Forte S in and was the next model up and they have what she wants in them but they are not ready to drive at the time and that they were still rapped up and need to be processed. We took a golf cart to the back lot and he showed us the Forte S. After looking through the window he tools us to the front and and said give him a few minutes let him see if he could get some help from someone on who might know where the keys are kept. 20 minutes later he came back with the car. It was a 2017 Kia Forte S she looked around loved the look. We ran a few numbers based on what we told them about the trade in we had and a down payment.
Once we where happy we told we will come back tomorrow to finalize the deal and bring the trade in since we still needed to pick it up from Chevy. So while my wife was at work (Sep 21, 2016) I took the 2016 Chevrolet Cruz back and picked up her Dodge Journey and brought that to Kia. I got everything set and good to go. Todd was unfortunately not there but he did introduce us to Martin the day before who would help finish the deal (wished we waited till Thursday when Todd got back). Martin was know where near as knowledgeable as Todd. Martin took me on the test drive I asked him to tell me about the car and he just kept say "Forte this is a nice car". When we finalized the deal and we went to leave with my wife's new car he didn't show her or tell her anything. Just gave her the keys and told her to enjoy her night.
Friday afternoon(Sep 23, 2016) my wife gets a call from Mike and was told that if she would like to come in at her convenience that he could show her everything about her car. On Saturday (Sep 24, 2016) we get a call from the FinanceManager Amy King my first thought was here we go again. But the call was that they were able to get Payments lower on the Dart and if we would like to come in and restructure the deal for the lower payments and APR.
Big shout out to Amy, Anthony, Mike and Todd for all the help. They worked with us and went the extra mile in my opinion. Definitely don't mind buying from them again.
Hope that Martin get some training soon or shadow someone soon. While I was in there he the second day he was getting yelled at by a different costumer because he refused to give that guy his keys back.
