| - This is one of those places that comes off as trying to be "hip" by catering to liberal college students that like to pretend they're sophisticated and cultured. I had a very hard time even ordering my food, as I was too busy laughing at the descriptions of the menu items, almost all of which contained at least one ingredient being "organic," "free-range," "free-trade," or some other attractive buzzword.
The food itself was fine. I ordered breakfast tacos which were pretty average. I may just not be aware of how corn tortillas work, but it all was very dry. Just about everything on the menu is 10 bucks or more, and you'll be paying for the presentation rather than the quantity. Coffee was okay - nothing special.
We generally got good service - my water glass was always full and so was my coffee mug, and we didn't have to wait long to be served. Outdoor seating was nice on a beautiful morning.
All-in-all, if you get into this sort of place, you'll probably enjoy it. If you don't, you can definitely find a better, less expensive place.
