This is an amazingly well maintained park to trail run (or just hike) with enough elevation to give you a good workout. Takes about 50 minutes roundtrip running a portion of it. The two reasons I'm not giving it 5 stars is that the "volunteer trail people" shut you down from going any further so early before sunset- regardless of your pace would have you finish before the park closes. The second is that it is an out and back and ONLY and out and back. This means that everyone who is on the trail is on the same exact trail- I avoid this by utilizing the trail only when the temps are over 100 degrees. It's a perfect trail to experience in the "off season". I also love the opportunity to carry the rocks up the hill to support the trail maintenance efforts. Highly recommend.
