| - A great service company is hard to find. And when I mean great, I am reflecting qualities such as educating the consumer, quality workmanship, follow thru on accomplishing what they committed too. Unfortunately, I think service companies don't think we pay attention to details, but most of us do. I think Hackney reflects those great qualities. Drew, the owner, in a non-patronizing and very patient way explained how and what the best HVAC system would comprise of. I think he literally spent 2 hrs fielding my answers, awesome! I felt good about my decision, not helpless or like I was "shooting in the dark" on a full, brand new HVAC purchase. This is important when your investing thousands, and they clearly know that. The installation guys, Bobby and Gabe, were friendly and hard working. As promised, Drew returned to take a second look at installation. I also requested another framing of the attic (they had to rip out the frame to fit the new unit). They happily committed to the new frame as well as Scott, the drywaller, came out to make it look exactly what it originally was. This was important to me and luckily not an added expense. I was happy they didn't guilt me, they wanted it to be right and just did the extra work. If your patient and kind to Hackney during their busy season, summer, they are happy to follow-up and keep their promises. Of course there was the usual arriving late, needing to clean-up and waiting for when they can fit the fixes into their schedule...but the integrity was there. I also want to add that I have a 10 year contract with them for annual maintenance and with AIG who manages my American Standard, they made the whole package deal an attractive cost. I look forward to continuing a positive relationship with them. Thank you Tina, Bobby, Gabe, Drew and Dallas.
