A skinny park betwixt 17th Ave SW and an auxiliary road, Tomkins isn't much to write home about. A few small scale public events happen here in the summer, but none particularly noteworthy. Minimally landscaped with grass and trees, its primary function is to provide some shaded seating during summer days, and a dumping ground for various bar patron waste products at night. Don't go out if your way to visit, unless you're looking for spot to eat your food truck lunch, or a place to revisit it later in the day.
