The new Lenny Boy diggs are pretty cool! I attended a craft class that was held in the large back room space behind the tap room, but the new location is beer drinker's paradise.
There's a large parking lot with a gate surrounding and room enough for food trucks to park and serve. The intersection Griffith St and Tryon is a bit busy, but not too bad. I'd imagine you would have to be careful if you are doing a brewery crawl on foot and having to cross to head over to the other nearby breweries.
Once you come in to the tap room, the high ceilings and natural wood surface tables make for an inviting space. Plenty of tables and the bar that is centrally located. It is really hard to compare the space to the previous location. I'm glad to see they have this really nice tap room space. Art on the walls reflect the local sports teams and all things Charlotte - but I'm sure the art may rotate.
Of course the selection of beers abound, and for those non-beer drinkers... they have ciders on tap as well as Kombucha. Staffers are friendly and the vibe is really relaxed and casual.
