  • I have been a patient at the Phoenix VA for the past 6 years. When my specialist doctor retired, hell began. I was assigned to a clinic in the Mid-town Clinic. I live in Eloy. It is a round trip drive that takes me 4 hours! My privacy was violated when they gave my medical records to some other patient. I broke my knee and it took me 2 years to get an appointment with the joke Choiceless Card. Another time I had a colonoscopy exam and I was totally awake and in pain during the entire procedure. I kept yelling STOP. Their explanation is that every body reacts differently to the anesthesia. My eye surgery and history is a nightmare. I have been told my numerous civilian and veteran ophthalmologist that I have a glaucoma, and others who said I don't. If you want to complain go to your patient advocate. Been there, done that, waste of time. This has to stop. Does anyone know of the secret number or person who has the administrative authority to stop this patient abuse? If so, please let me know.
